The problem with being an expert on one disaster is that other disasters might strike your family. Your task is to create a disaster manual for your family that will help your family prepare for any disaster.

Directions: Combine the ideas of fire, flood, and tornado into a list of common preparedness stepps.

Before you begina: what would your teacher and teacher librarian need to teeach you about analysis and syntesis?

Now, make a list of points that would be in your family disaster manual?

Make a plan -- what if?  A list of things to consider, possibilities.  (Lists out there: find one that works and modify it.)

Identify a safe place and a reunion plan.
