The problem with being an expert on one disaster is that other disasters might strike your family. Your task is to create a disaster manual for your family that will help your family prepare for any disaster.

Directions: Combine the ideas of fire, flood, and tornado into a list of common preparedness stepps.

 

Before you begina: what would your teacher and teacher librarian need to teeach you about analysis and syntesis?

Teach them to organize the points and analyze them so we can see which ones are overlapping.

Summarize the diverse ideas.

Then synthesize them into a coherent set of recommendation

Paraphrasing the ideas

Learn to recognize the key ideas.
