Using the Big Think book strategies, describe two activities you would do with studnets:

Venn diagram to learn compare and contrast

Bring in an expert 

Content/knowledge buklding about the topic of disasters:

Present information about disasters 

 

 

 

 

Refection on the process/learning journey/information literacy journey:

Make sure groups are manageable, and there is 1 recording person

Make sure technology is working

Make sure students understand how to use the wiki software; logins, etc. 

 

 

 

What's Next?

How prepared are we for disasters?  How do we become prepared?

 

 

 

Reflection of teacher librarian, classroom teacher, teacher technologists, any other specialists who collaborated: Making a video on instruction is a great idea; post on website; publicize project; create blog on what they have learned; contact elderly people to see if they would like to learn about disaster preparation; Talk to the school principals
